We have all been made aware of the potential damage that man can do to the environment and it is in the interest of the business that we maximise the efforts to maintain a clean and healthy working environment for the benefit of the public, our customers and our workforce.

It is the policy of Bowlins to adhere to its obligations under the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act1990 and the Control of Pollution Act 1974, amended in 1989.

Bowlins seek to promote the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources and have established environmental objectives and standards that will govern the management of environmental issues.

Environmental Risk Assessments are carried out on all projects and we endeavour to substitute ‘Greener’ solutions to potentially polluting substances. Bowlins are registered waste carrier s and wherever possible waste is recycled, reclaimed or reused.

We work in a potentially hazardous and polluting business. We are conscious of the need to minimise smoke, dust, noise and vibration nuisance and to leave our operations cleaner than when we start.
